All Fours

This is such a wild ride from Miranda July. It’s about this woman in her….40’s(?), an artist, who is going THROUGH IT in her personal life, and decides to take a solo trip.

Which I love, because you def find out so much about yourself when you travel alone and have downtime to do literally whatever you want.

Anyways, she doesn’t make it very far, and ends up in a town not too far from home and basically goes on this weird af self rediscovery journey and I love it for her! She goes about it……weird af, but essentially makes it an art piece.

Suggested by a girlfriend, read it years ago, think about it often.
