A unique world build for a one-off, from Seanan McGuire.

Magic is real, genetics is the key, and genetic manipulation from a mad scientist type is the premise. Twins separated at birth end up finding each other, and how their power supports one another, and what they can do together. It’s pretty mind blowing.

Really liked the characters in this book as well. A lot of thought went into their interactions with one another. A little bit of murder, but not too scary!
