Estranged sisters tasked with guarding the family’s magical books, it’s pretty spicy with that family drama! An amazing novel by Emma Törzs.

As the story unfolds, you see the larger picture of the cost of magic, and what’s sacrificed, and who is betrayed to have that power. The imagery is stunning, and her writing style keeps the pace of the book moving quickly, but takes time for character development and world building.

Absolutely huge fan!
